Golden Week （黄金週間）takes place during the week of the April-May transition. Several Holidays take place during this period in time, including Children’s Day, Constitution Memorial Day, and Greenery Day. Rather than having a severely fragmented week for workers and students, everyone enjoys a weeklong hiatus.
